CoParent IQ™ Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 16, 2026
CoParent IQ is operated by Valor Legal & Family Court Services, LLC. This policy explains how we handle information through our app and website, https://co-parentiq.org.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide, such as account details, messages, parenting schedules, uploaded documents, and family information. This may include information about children that parents provide for co-parenting purposes.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate CoParent IQ, provide communication and organization features, respond to support requests, and maintain security.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell users’ personal information.
Information may be shared with other users through the features you use, with service providers necessary to operate the app, or when required by law.
AI Features
Information submitted to AI features may be processed to generate responses. Review the information-sharing notices provided in the app before submitting sensitive information.
AI Features and Third-Party Services
When you use Ask IQ, your questions, and any custody-order text you choose to submit, are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate responses. Google processes this data under its own terms. Ask IQ is optional. App data is stored with our hosting and database provider (Supabase). Location searches in the Resource Finder use OpenStreetMap data. We do not sell your personal information.
Security and Retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no electronic system is completely secure. We retain information as needed to provide our services and meet applicable legal obligations.
Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing coparent.connect@gmail.com. Certain information may be retained where legally required. Copies independently saved by other users may remain with them.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and profile. Messages you sent stay visible to the other parent, but with your name removed, so the shared record stays intact. You can also request deletion by emailing coparent.connect@gmail.com.
Children’s Privacy
CoParent IQ is intended for adult parents and caregivers. Information adults provide about children is used to support co-parenting features.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
